
CURRICULUM
Grading System
Pre-k 3, pre-k 4, kindergarten, and first grade are non-graded. Students receive online progress reports at the end of each grading period consisting of narratives about the content that was covered and about the child’s performance. Specific skill ratings are given in the form of the following descriptions:

2 - Approaching expectations

1 - Below expectations
Second, third, fourth and fifth grade students receive letter grades and narrative reports in all core curriculum courses.
Students at all grade levels receive reports in each enrichment class. Enrichments are reported in the form of the following descriptions:

S - Satisfactory
-
N - Needs Improvement
-
U - Unsatisfactory
Interim reports and/or conference requests are sent at the midpoint of each grading period if there is a significant concern about a student’s work. Teachers will be pleased to discuss your child’s progress and/or grade reports by appointment and at regularly scheduled parent-teacher conferences.

A = 100 – 93 B = 92 – 85 C = 84 – 77 D = 76 – 70 F = 69 - 0
