ABOUT US
OUR VISION
Epiphany Day School is committed to providing a loving, nurturing, Christian environment with high academic standards and expectations. We strive to build character, confidence, and to teach a love of God, self, and others.
ACADEMIC PROGRAM
The curriculum of the school is so designed that students doing satisfactory work will be prepared to continue their independent school education at the Episcopal School of Acadiana, or any other school, public, parochial or independent. Since academic standards are subject to constant change and since each year brings a demand for increased academic prowess, the course of study must, of necessity, be both coordinated from grade to grade and also flexible enough to admit the inclusion of new texts, techniques and subject areas. The goal in all courses is to develop in each child, to the best of his/her ability, the work habits and intellectual attitudes that prepare students for success in the 21st century.
OUR COMMITMENT
Epiphany Day School, a mission of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, is a co-educational Episcopal school for a diverse student body from Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Its goal is to provide a challenging academic program for students with average and above-average ability. We seek to foster a love of learning, to teach students the skills of independent thinking as a basis for self-education, and to provide a religious education rooted in the Christian faith as practiced by the Episcopal Church. The overall school program is designed to allow students to develop to their full potential intellectually, spiritually, physically and morally.
Epiphany Day School is a member in good standing of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) Commission on Accreditation. It has voluntarily agreed to abide by the Commission's Criteria for Effective Independent School Accreditation Practices and to submit to a thorough review and evaluation of its accreditation standards, criteria, and procedures. SAES is recognized by state agencies and by eleven Episcopal dioceses within the six states served by SAES.
Epiphany Day School is the Only Louisiana A+ School in Acadiana.
