Epiphany Day School

Epiphany Day School is a co-educational independent school founded by Episcopalians for Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. We provide a challenging academic program enhanced by arts integration and experiential learning. We value scholarship, honor, and service.

Monday, December 8th

  • Wed., Dec.10th- 9:30-10:15 Eucharist.  Formal dress uniform required.
  • Wed., Dec.10th - deadline to turn in gift cards or cash for the Solomon House gift card drive. Each student who brings a fast food restaurant gift card for $10 or $10 in cash can wear Christmas or Spirit Wear for the week of Dec 15-18.
  • Wed., Dec.10th- Selection of Float Riders for Christmas Parade. Because of our partnership with the George Rodrigue Foundation, we are the only school who's been invited to ride on a float in this year's Christmas Parade, at 6 p.m. on Saturday the 13th. We will choose (through random drawing of names) one student from each grade level. That student may be accompanied by his/her immediate family members (parents and siblings only; we're limited to 25 people). Please let us know today or tomorrow if you don't want your child's name in the drawing!
  • Thu., Dec. 11th: 7:30 a.m. 4-H meeting in the Science Lab.
  • Fri., Dec., 12th: 1st Graders visit the Shadows.
  • Mon., Dec. 15th- No afternoon ESA bus service.  Only morning service will be provided. 
  • Tue., Dec. 16th:  Deadline for January hot lunch form (download HERE).
  • Wed., Dec. 17th-  6 p.m. Lessons & Carols at the Cade Chapel
  • Thur., Dec. 18th- No afternoon ESA bus service.  Only morning service will be provided.
  • Fri., Dec. 19th- No School.   Teacher In-Service

The PK Toy Drive is going well.  Please bring any gently used toys to the school office.  Ms. Stephanie will be arranging to have the toys brought to a local church. 

We have some of the Christmas Greenery for sale in the school office (we had to purchase the greenery by the cases).  We have a few wreaths, swags, garland and the pine cones.  If you would like to purchase any, please stop by the office and Paulette can charge it to your account. 

Parents Club is taking orders for Christmas ornaments and plaques.  There are a few in the office for purchase.  You can download the form HERE

SAVE THE DATES:

  • Welcome Wednesdays:  Every Wednesday at EDS, we offer school tours from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.  If you know of anyone who may be interested in attending EDS, this is a great opportunity for them to see our school in action.
  • Dec. 15th- ASO private lessons Recital at 6 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
  • Dec. 15th- Dec. 18th:  No afternoon IPSB bus service.  Only morning service will be provided through IPSB.
  • Wed., Dec. 17th-  6 p.m. Lessons & Carols at the Cade Chapel
  • Thur. Dec. 18th- (Grades 1-5) 12:00- 12:30 Caroling at Bouligny Plaza. We will leave campus at 11:50.  Any parents who would like to walk with us are welcome. Students need to wear your green field trip t shirts.
  • Fri., Dec. 19th- No School.   Teacher In-Service
  • Jan. 5th- School resumes.
  • Saturday, Feb. 28th is our Gala Fundraiser!
  • Sat., March 28th-  The Dragon Boat Festival at Bouligny Plaza.
