Student Directory - Thank you for completing and returning your information forms. We are now in the process of preparing a student directory. It will be shared with all current families in the form of a pdf document which you can print or save so that you can contact your children's classmates for invitations, homework help, etc. The directory will not be posted on the website, so be sure to save the document when we email it to you later this week.
Tuesday, August 26th- Deadline to turn in September hot lunch form. (see attached form).
Wednesday, August 27th- Parent Orientation Night Schedule:
5:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.- 5th grade parents meeting in the math room in the main building prior to Parent Orientation
6:00 p.m.- 7:15 p.m- .PreK- 5th Meet in the front office between 6 and 6:10 to pick up your schedule; you'll have a session with your children's teachers in their classrooms and a session in the Henton House to chat informally with the enrichment teachers.
Ms. Sue and two National Honor Society seniors from ESA will be providing childcare in the Parish Hall. No children under 2, please. Please let us know by Wednesday morning if you will be bringing children.
Important notice: Please do not park on the church's side of our shared parking lot; they have Wednesday night services at the same time. The Methodist Church parking lot is available along with on-street parking.
Friday, August 29th- Jean/Jersey/Spirit Day. Wear your favorite EDS spirit shirt.
Monday, Sept. 1st: Labor Day- No School

Welcome Wednesdays: Every Wednesday at EDS, we offer school tours from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. If you know of anyone who may be interested in D, this is a great opportunity for them to see our school in action.
Saturday, Sept. 13th: EDS is the only school selected to participate in a special Elemore Morgan, Jr. Day from 9a.m.- 1p.m. @ the Horse Farm in Lafayette. An exhibit from 4 -7 @ ACA Downtown Art Walk will follow.
Sunday, Sept. 21st: Fall Open House for interested prospective parents. Please spread the word.
Saturday, Feb. 28th is our Spring Gala Fundraiser! More information will be forthcoming.
ASO is offering instrument and voice lessons after school. Lessons have begun, but you can still sign up. There are new options this year, including cello, and Suzuki violin!!!!!
