4-H Cash Prize Poetry Contest

Your students have definitely had a solid foundation of poetry understanding in Ms. Coty's class - here's their chance to win some cash for it! 

The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, Youth Wetlands Program is hosting a poetry contest, themed “Louisiana’s Coast:  Our Unique Culture”  We encourage youth to participate in this event.  Spread the word and encourage creative arts in wetland protection, not to mention, winners will get cash rewards!  Deadline for submission is April 17, 2015 to Ms. Ashley Mullens.  The contest is open to Louisiana students in three divisions Upper Elementary (3-5) Middle School (6-8) and High School (9-12.  Cash prizes will be awarded to 1-3rd place winners in each division.
