February Meeting Notes

This morning we talked about the difference between an illustrated talk (usually done with multiple posters as a visual aid for a "how to" set of instructions), and a demonstration (have materials needed present and use said materials to demonstrate as you explain the process). This particular topic was chosen because the Iberia Parish 4-H Spring Contest Day is approaching! There are MANY options available to compete in. Attending meetings is one thing, but participating in 4-H events outside of school are what makes membership worthwhile. Lifelong friendships, leadership skills, real-world skills experience, and fun are just a few of the many take-aways from participating in 4-H events.
